| Solutions for the Critical Office Mess |
| This class will provide an overview of office organizing.
Pitfalls of disorganization will be identified. Organizing systems and
methodology will be taught, including many concrete tips for organizing
time, space and paper, including how to arrange your desktop so it will
serve you in the best way possible. Differences in personal style, wants and
needs will be addressed along with the the necessity to honor these nuances
in selecting the "right" system for you and your business. The importance of
prioritization will be stressed, along with keeping an eye on big picture
goals. Participants will leave class with an array of tools to get started
and stay organized. |

| Clutter Support Group |
| A new group is forming in Mill Valley. This group will
address the diverse components of organizing. Many tips will be offered and
concrete solutions learned. Each class will focus on a different facet of
organizing. Class members will be encouraged to set attainable goals. This
will be a gentle instructional venue in which to begin the long overdue
project of getting organized. The cost is $325 for the series. The group
will meet for 2 hours every other week. Exact dates to be determined.
Limited enrollment. Attendees must pre-register.

Fall 2003 - Barbara facilitated a 6-meeting pilot
group in Mill Valley. See under "Upcoming Classes" the "Clutter Support
Group" description.

| Ask the Experts Panel |
October 2003 - Barbara served as one of 5 veteran
organizers on a question and answer panel at the 15th annual regional
conference of the National Association of Professional Organizers.

| The Paper Dance
(Co-Designed and Taught with Katherine Korlacki) October 2002 at Grow
Your Vision, the 14th Annual Regional Organizing Conference of the San
Francisco Bay Area Chapter of the National Association of Professional
Organizers. This workshop offered an overview of paper management. It
was geared toward professional organizers who will set up paper systems for
their clients. In addition to learning the elements of creating a successful
customized paper management system, attendees gained an understanding of the
sensitivities and complexities they might encounter along the way. |
