Frequently Asked Questions
|
| "What do I need
to start?" |
| |
The intention to get
organized. (No need to try to spiff things up for the Organizer! It's better
to present "as-is.") |
| |
| "When is
Barbara available?" |
| |
Monday through Friday 9AM-8PM,
Saturday 9-6 and occasional Sundays by special arrangement. |
| |
| "How much time
will it take, and how often will we meet?" |
| |
This is determined mainly by
the scope of the project, your budget and time constraints. We will work at
a pace that best suits your needs. I can work as quickly as you can make
decisions. The decisions will be exponentially easier than you can imagine,
with my guidance. |

| "What is it
like to work with Barbara?" |
| |
A midwife for change, Barbara
walks clients through their lifetime of "Things." This process enables her
clients to frame their current goals and aspirations in a way that they
would not have been able had their closets remained stuffed with "unknowns."
"Things" are a map of a person's life until this point and carry much useful
metaphorical information. This is a powerful process. Barbara has a gentle
earthy collaborative coaching style. She is an ally, careful to honor
sensitivities and boundaries. By asking questions and using intuition,
Barbara works in a style and at a pace that matches the client's energetic
needs. She fully supports each client through the many decisions incumbent
upon the organizing process. She and her clients frequently share laughter
which is a natural by-product of organizing with Barbara.
